I used technology throughout the entire process of creating this magazine. We started with genre research and I was able to use a computer to look at a large variety of magazine cover pages, table of contents, and page layouts of manny different travel magazines. I aslo heavily relied on online software to create my magazine using many different platforms such as powerpoint, publisher and indesign in order to create my magazine. Much of this project was owed to the use of technology and would not have been created without it.

Throughout the course of this project, my production skills have developed by a noticable margin. At first i barely had any idea on how I would organize and put my magazine together but through all of the genre research we did, I gained insight on how to properly structure a magazine. And over the course of the year I improved my magazine greatly with the first submission only vaguely resembling one as it looked more like some powerpoint slides put on paper, which is what they were, but later on I used better software such as publisher and indesign to create more profesional looking pages and layouts. I also developed better time management skills over time and I learned how to better self manage for projects such as this.

I would most likely try to distribute my magazine digitally, mostly through advertisements on other websites and/or thorught social media accounts in order to direct people to a website that I created for my magazine that people would be able to order hard copies off of and that would be delivered in the mail.

My product heavily uses previously existing conventions and barely, if any, challenges them. The cover page of my magazine is based almost entirely on the cover page of a different magazine that I reviewed during our convention research, with the layout and color design being very similar to one of the magazines I reviewed. The layout of the title and other information in the title page is heavily influenced by conventions with the title being pushed up top and out of the way with the main focus of the title page being put on the picture over everything else. My magazine doesnt really challenge any conventions as I mostly wanted to use the road more traveled and what worked best rather than try to change it up and risk it end up being bad.
